Caring For Your Candles
First Burn...
Burning your candle for the first time, is what will determine how long you candle lasts and the quality of you candle. It is important when lighting it for the first time to let it burn for at least 2 hours. We recommend until your candle has a full melting pool. This is when the entire top surface of wax is melted. Doing this will ensure your candle burns evenly, making it last longer.
The Wick
The wick is one of the most important parts of your candle, therefore maintaining it, is key to a long lasting candle. You want to make sure to trim your candle before or after every use. When the wick gets long and out of control it creates a black soot around the top of the container of your candle. It can also leave soot in the melted wax on the top of your candle.
